Sou. M. R. jagtap Mahiala Mahavidyalaya, Umbraj is established in 1989. Great personality Dr. Karmveer Bhaurao Patil is founder of Rayat Shikshan Sanstha, satara. Our mother institute is Rayat Shikshan Sanstha, Satara. Our college is located in rural area.Only Arts faculty is running by this college. There were 5 subject taught as a special level &3 subject taught as non-department S.Y. level. Our college has run many short term courses i.e.fashion designing, beauty parlor, self defense training, spoken English, foundation course in human rights, foundation course in m.p.s.c.etc.  for development the skills among the girl students.
